User Safety & Abuse Reporting Policy
Effective Date: 1 January 2025
Last Updated: 27 November 2025
At ProTalkie, user safety is a core priority. This policy explains how we handle harmful behavior, abuse, harassment, illegal activity, or safety risks on the platform. It also outlines the tools available to help users protect themselves and how to report violations.
This policy supplements our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Our Commitment to User Safety
ProTalkie is built to provide a safe, private, and secure space for communication through end-to-end encrypted talkies and messages.
We are committed to:
-
Protecting users from harassment, abuse, threats, and harmful conduct
-
Providing clear tools to block or report misuse
-
Responding promptly to valid safety reports
-
Taking appropriate action in line with our Terms of Use
Because ProTalkie uses end-to-end encryption, we cannot see or access message content. However, we still support user safety through metadata review, account patterns, and user-submitted reports.
2. What Is Considered Abuse or Violations
You should report any behavior that includes (but is not limited to):

Repeated unwanted contact
-
Insults, intimidation, or targeted harassment

3. Tools You Can Use to Stay Safe
ProTalkie provides features to help you control your experience:
3.1 Block Users
-
Instantly stops messages, calls, and contact attempts
-
Blocked users cannot add you as a friend or send talkies
3.2 Report Users
When you report someone:
-
You may share optional additional context with us
-
We cannot access message content due to E2EE
-
We may review metadata, behavior patterns, or other non-content signals
3.3 Privacy Controls
-
Disable Walkie-Talkie mode
-
Restrict who can contact you
-
Turn off notifications
4. How to Report Abuse
You can report safety concerns by contacting:
Email: admin@pplsttech.com
Subject: “Safety Report – Urgent” (if applicable)
Please include:
-
Your phone number
-
The offending user’s phone number (or username, if added later)
-
Description of the issue
-
Screenshots (if available) — NOT encrypted message content
-
Any evidence showing harm or violation
We do not ask for message content because we cannot access it.
5. What Happens After You Report
Once we receive a report, we may:
5.1 Review metadata
(e.g., account activity patterns, frequency of messages, abusive behavior indicators)
5.2 Investigate using allowed signals
We do not access message content but may evaluate:
-
Number of complaints against the same user
-
Whether the user violated Terms of Use
-
Whether the user is involved in spam or automated activity
5.3 Take appropriate action, including:
-
Warning the user
-
Temporary restrictions
-
Permanent account ban
-
Preventing re-registration using device or backend checks
-
Cooperating with law enforcement when legally required
We may also recommend that victims block the abusive account.
6. Limitations Due to End-to-End Encryption
Because ProTalkie uses E2EE:
-
We cannot read messages
-
We cannot retrieve deleted messages
-
We cannot view voice notes or media files unless shared by a reporter
-
We cannot monitor communications automatically
This provides privacy and security for everyone, but also means:
⚠️ We rely on user reports and metadata to detect misuse.
⚠️ We may request additional information to investigate cases.
7. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation
ProTalkie has a strict policy against:
-
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
-
Grooming or solicitation
-
Exploitation or endangerment of minors
Actions we take:
-
Immediate account termination
-
Device-level blocks (where possible)
-
Mandatory reporting to relevant authorities when permitted or required by law
-
Full cooperation with law enforcement (metadata only; content is E2EE)
8. Law Enforcement & Legal Requests
We may respond to valid legal requests such as:
-
Court orders
-
Legal warrants
-
Requests permitted under local laws
However:
-
We cannot decrypt message content
-
We can provide available metadata if legally required (timestamps, device info, account details)
For detailed guidelines, see our Law Enforcement Request Policy.
9. False or Malicious Reports
Submitting false reports:
-
Violates our Terms of Use
-
May result in suspension or termination
-
May be forwarded to authorities in serious cases
Please report responsibly.
10. Safety Tips for Users
We recommend:
-
Do not share sensitive personal information
-
Block unknown or suspicious accounts immediately
-
Avoid clicking unknown links (if added later)
-
Keep your app updated for security improvements
-
Contact authorities if you feel in danger
