ProTalkie is committed to protecting the privacy and safety of young users. This Children’s Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information from children and users under specific age thresholds according to global regulations.
This policy supplements our main Privacy Policy.
1. Age Requirements
To use ProTalkie, you must meet the following minimum age requirements:

13 years or older globally (COPPA requirement for US)

16 years or older in the EU/EEA/UK, unless a parent or guardian provides verifiable consent (as per GDPR Article 8)

18 years or older in countries with higher age-of-consent requirements for digital services
If you do not meet these age requirements, you may not use ProTalkie.
2. Our Policy on Children Under 13
We do not knowingly collect, use, or store personal information from children under the age of 13.
If we learn that a user is under 13:

The account will be deleted

All associated data (messages, media, contacts, profile information) will be erased within 30 days

Guardians may contact us to request faster removal
3. EU/UK Users Under 16 (GDPR-K)
For users in the EU/UK:

Users must be 16+ to use the service independently

Users aged 13 to 15 must obtain verifiable parental consent

We do not offer features for obtaining parental consent at this time
Therefore:
If you are under 16 and located in the EU/UK, you may not use ProTalkie.
4. India (DPDP Act) – Users Under 18
India’s data protection law requires parental consent for processing children’s data for those under 18.
ProTalkie does not support parental consent workflows.
Therefore:
Users in India must be 18 or older to use ProTalkie.
5. What We Collect From Users (and Why)
ProTalkie does not profile children, does not show ads, and does not sell personal data.
If a minor bypasses age restrictions and creates an account, we may collect:

Push notification tokens
These are collected only to operate the service.
6. End-to-End Encryption and Children
All messages are end-to-end encrypted, meaning:

We cannot monitor or review conversations

We cannot decrypt content for moderation or guardian access
Therefore, protecting children’s access is especially important because:

We cannot detect inappropriate or harmful messaging

We cannot monitor or filter communication
This is why ProTalkie strictly restricts child usage.
7. No Advertising, No Selling, No Profiling
For all users, especially minors:

No advertising or tracking cookies

No data selling (CCPA/CPRA compliant)

No behavioral profiling

No personalized ads
-
No third-party marketing
We use no ad SDKs or marketing trackers.
8. If You Believe a Child Is Using ProTalkie
Parents, guardians, or educators may contact us if they believe a child is using the service.
We will:

Verify the report

Disable the account
-
Delete all data within 30 days (or sooner on request)

We cannot restore an account once deleted.
10. Compliance With COPPA (US)
ProTalkie:

We comply fully with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Children’s Privacy Policy as required by evolving laws.
Changes will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
