This Privacy Policy explains how ProTalkie (“the App”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By downloading or using ProTalkie, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)
All messages—including voice notes, photos, videos, files, and text—are end-to-end encrypted.
How it works:

Encryption & decryption happen only on your device

Keys are stored only on-device

We cannot access, read, or listen to your messages

Media is encrypted client-side before upload
Important:

Metadata (timestamps, file size, message ID) is not E2EE but is protected via secure server storage.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to:

Deliver Talkies instantly

Provide chat, friend connections, and Walkie-Talkie Mode

Sync contacts and show which friends use the app

5. Data Retention
We retain data only for as long as needed:

Messages & media: indefinitely, until you delete them

Metadata: retained for app functioning

Analytics & logs: retained per Firebase’s standard retention

Account data: deleted within 30 days of account deletion request

No residual data is kept after deletion
6. Account Deletion
When you delete your account:

All messages, media, contacts, and personal data are scheduled for deletion

Your data is fully erased from our systems within 30 days

This process cannot be reversed

We retain no metadata for spam/fraud prevention
7. Sharing of Information
We share personal data only in these cases:

ProTalkie is not intended for users under 13

If a child is found using the app, we delete the account and all data
