What is Walkie-Talkie Mode?
Walkie-Talkie Mode allows Talkies to auto-play instantly as soon as they arrive.
Auto-play works when:

Receiver has internet connection

Sender is not muted
When Walkie-Talkie Mode is OFF, Talkies arrive silently and can be played anytime from the chat.
How do I add friends?
You can add friends using their phone number.
A friend request must be accepted before you can exchange Talkies.
Can I send Talkies to someone without adding them as a friend?
No — ProTalkie is privacy-first. Only approved friends can exchange Talkies.
How do Groups work?

Are there limits on Talkie length or file size?
No — Talkies have no duration limit and no file size limit.
(Your device/network may impose practical limits.)
What happens if I delete a Talkie?
You can choose:

Delete for me — removes from your device

Delete for everyone — removes from both sides
Does deleting a chat delete media on the server?
Yes — media stored on cloud is deleted instantly when you delete a chat.

Do Talkies send instantly?
Yes — ProTalkie uses real-time delivery even when the app is in the background or killed.

Are Talkies stored forever?
Yes — Talkies stay available until you delete them.
Can I use ProTalkie on multiple devices?
ProTalkie is currently single-device only.
If I change devices, do my messages sync?
Yes — once you log in on the new device, your chat history syncs.

Are media files encrypted?
Yes — all media is encrypted on your device before uploading to cloud.
Is any metadata stored?
No — ProTalkie retains zero metadata after account deletion.

What happens when I block someone?
Blocking will:

Remove them as a friend

Prevent Talkies or messages

Stop all future contact
How do I report someone?
You can report directly from the app or via email at admin@pplsttech.com.

Are Talkies recorded in high quality?
Yes — ProTalkie uses high-quality AAC encoding with:

TROUBLESHOOTING
Auto-play is not working. What should I do?
Check:

Walkie-Talkie Mode is ON

Your internet connection

ProTalkie has notification permissions

Battery optimization is turned OFF for ProTalkie

App is updated to the latest version
Talkies are not received in background.
Ensure:

Notifications are enabled

Battery optimization disabled

App has background activity permission

Android/iOS power-saving mode is not restricting network access
Bluetooth audio issues.
If Talkies route to the wrong speaker:

Toggle Bluetooth OFF/ON

Disconnect and reconnect your BT device

Ensure no other app is taking audio focus

Update to the latest version (we continuously improve routing)
Contacts aren’t showing in my friend list.
Try:

How do I delete my account?
Inside the app:
Settings → Delete Account
What happens when I delete my account?
Immediately:

Profile removed
-
Account disabled
Within 30 days:

Chat history deleted

All media removed from cloud

Cannot be undone
We store zero metadata after deletion.
TALKIE STREAKS
What are Talkie Streaks?
Talkie Streaks celebrate how consistently you stay connected with your favourite people.
A streak increases when you and your friend exchange at least one Talkie within 24 hours.
How is a Talkie Streak counted?
A streak grows when BOTH sides interact:

You send a Talkie to your friend and
-
Your friend sends a Talkie back within 24 hours
It resets if no Talkie is exchanged from either side in the 24-hour window.
Do missed or deleted Talkies affect my streak?
No — deleting a Talkie or missing it doesn't not affect the streak.
Streaks only increase when Talkies are successfully exchanged.
Does a text message count toward the streak?
No — only voice Talkies count toward streaks.
Texts, photos, or videos do not affect streaks.
Do Talkies auto-played in Walkie-Talkie Mode count?
Yes — as long as the Talkie is received and played, it counts.
Does the streak continue if one person has Walkie-Talkie Mode OFF?
Yes — Talkies don’t need to auto-play to count.
They only need to be delivered and listened to.
Do I need an internet connection to maintain a streak?
Yes — if Talkies can’t be delivered due to no internet connection, the streak may break.
Can I have streaks with multiple friends?
Yes — every friend has their own individual streak with you.
What happens if I change devices?
Because your chat history syncs:

Your streaks continue normally
-
Changing your device does not reset streaks
-
You must log in with the same phone number
Can I restore a broken streak?
No — streaks reset automatically when the 24-hour window is missed.
There is no manual way to restore a streak.
How do I increase my streak faster?
Just keep exchanging Talkies daily.
There is no limit — streaks can go infinitely high.
Are streaks private or visible to others?
Your streak count is visible only to you and your friend.
No one else can see your streaks.
Do streaks work inside groups?
Yes — streaks work with groups as well and increase when at least two members exchange talkies.
Can I disable streaks?
No — streaks are automatically tracked, but notifications related to streak milestones may be disabled in the future.
